Ken, Would you send your 14 year old daughter in a sting operation such as this, knowing that someone would point her in a kinky sex direction? What if she suddenly decided to act on that advice and you found out? Would you be able to live with yourself? If you wanted to be honest with yourself, you'd have to believe that there were two evils here, not one. Assuming the nurse was wrong, her advice would be one evil, the second would be the prolifers sending a child in to listen to it. I guess you can live with that though, sacrificing a child for god's great purpose. Thanks Apple, for reminding me. Ken, What do you think about this?

I'd rather my 14 year old daughter's sex questions be answered by her parents or grandparent than a kinky nurse who thinks masochism is normal, that's for sure. Let's not even go there. Hmmm... and I don't think you read the information about the sting. It wasn't a child that was sent.

"A pro-life group says they have exposed an Oregon Planned Parenthood staffer in Clackamas, who told what she thought was a 15-year-old female that is normal for youth to be "spanked, hit, or whipped during sexual intercourse."
So she was an adult masquerading as a 15 year old? How old was she, Ken? 16, 17, 18? Very little difference as far as exposure to those ideas is concerned.
How would your reaction change if the woman asking for advice was 25-35 years old?

The content of what was shown is wrong no matter who was the sting operator. Your lack of concern is shocking.

For someone who claims not to judgemental..................oh wait, you judge people all the time, never mind. The facts clearly indicate that the nurse was in the right to treat this supposed teenager as an adult. Obviously, the masquerading 15 year old was behaving as an adult, after all, she had a boyfriend and was already engaging in sexual activity. The nurse probably asked herself - where were this child's parents if she's in here asking these questions? For all the nurse knew, the teenaget may not have been in a position to ask her mother or father because of a complicated home life. YOU DON'T HAVE ALL THE INFORMATION, and again, the tape was highly edited. Kudos to the nurse for acting like a professional, not judging the teenager, and treating the teenager as an adult.

I must say I'm quite bemused by the idea that SM sex play isn't normal.
If all participants are willing and appropriate precautions are taken, just what's so abnormal about it? Granted, it's not common. So what?

I know you would love that to be true. Perhaps it makes you feel better? There is a difference between judging an action and judging a person No.. she was presented as a teenager and not an adult. A sting is a sting - policemen use it all the time. Creating a nice scenario doesn't change the fact that those points were never questioned. Judging by PP track record, it rests on you to prove that it is misrepresented.

So, are you trying to claim that a healthcare professional shouldn't answer ANY questions about unconventional sex? Let's say this fake 15-year-old said her boyfriend suggested S&M, and she didn't know what that involved.
Do I get the picture that you think the nurse shouldn't even tell her what it is? After all, the girl doesn't need to know a thing about "abnormal" sex.

Sure, police are allowed to lie and fabricate elaborate scenerios while setting up a sting, but they are not allowed to edit conversations and destroy evidence while making their case. PP is a legal entity, and entitled to the same legal rights as any US citizen. The fact that there are huge gaps in the "testimony" is all the proof I need to blow your moral case out of the water. I'll reiterate Dot's question, in case you've missed it. What advice would you give to a teenager asking those questions?

Only because it suits your desires. No cop gives all the information up front, they wait for the trial. I'm sure you haven't even tried to find the full version as of this moment (correct me if I was wrong) Depends... would you want a Christian version or a regular version without Jesus Christ?

Ken,
There's not going to be a trail, all this this was manufactured for public consumption. It's a desperate gamble by losers in this public debate.
I watched the entire discussion between the young lady and the nurse, that you posted for our viewing pleasure. If there's something I missed, then supply the link so that I can listen to the unedited version. Does it exist? Did you watch the entire video? I don't think you have, because you don't seem to undetstand that portions have been edited by prolifers.
Give me both advice versions, with and without Jesus.

Have a pleasant evening.
