This is actually a very accurate picture of the state of affairs for Clergy in the US. It appears that the clergy suffer from the same sorts of mental, spiritual, and physical afflictions as those who work in the abortion industry. I hope I made my point, Ken.

It appears that the clergy suffer from the same sorts of mental, spiritual, and physical afflictions as those who work in the abortion industry. I hope I made my point, Ken. Not really. There is a big difference between seeing limbs torn apart and then having to put them back together again to make sure all parts are there and pastors who leave because of pressure. I suppose Chaplains who work with the Police Departments would have some of the same problems. But the difference, of course, is that they aren't destroying bodies like abortionist, they aren't pulling the trigger like soldiers, they aren't destroying life like abortionists and then having to deal with the psychological effects of that sort of trauma. Many pastors leave because they were taught how to counsel, how to prepare a sermon, and how to impact people but were never taught how to create a team so that the work isn't all on their shoulders. My greatest blessing is being instructed by Dr. Dean Ratke who worked under the CEO of Avon and the CEO of GAP who then gave his life to Jesus Christ and now instructs the Biblical principles implemented by Corporation to pastors.

That's a laugh. You turn a blind eye towards the trauma associated with evangelical Christian pastoring and the hypocrisy that no doubt is on the minds of conscientious ministers. Such things as the efficacy of prayer, sexual predation, financial scamming, gender inequality, bigotry, and moral hypocrisy, are just a few of the trauma that pastors inflict on their brethren. You guys manage to tear apart a few mental parts of your own. Oh yeah, you've mentioned Dr Ratke before. My impression was that he replaced the holy spirit with good business sense.

Ken ignores everything related to the dark side of his profession. It's all unicorns and rainbows at Ken World.

As you have mentioned, not just the Catholic Church but even in the Evangelical side. What I find curious is how deft you are in point those who fail and fall while you defend the institution called Planned Parenthood and ignore its abuses. Why is that?

It's easy to understand why PP employees get burned out with so many people to help and dealing with cuts in state/federal funding, and being hounded by evangelical terrorists whose only motivation is money and power.

Make sure you take the time to thank PP employees for the fine job they're doing. cnsnews.com/mrctv-blog/barbara-boland/sheriff-planned-parenthood-counselor-miscoded-rape-avoid-hassle-reportingGo ahead... continue defending PP. "The counselor intentionally miscoded the assault as a consensual encounter," the Sheriff's report states. "The counselor told them that they did not want the hassle of having to report the assault to law enforcement as they were a mandatory reporter." Yes... a great job. This is just one case... Can you find the statistic on how many times they never reported possible rape or sex with underage girls? Then you have their official statement of policy: Am I required to report to police? No, you are not legally obligated to report. The decision is entirely yours, and everyone will understand if you decided not to pursue prosecution. You should be aware that the district attorney's office retains the right to pursue prosecution whether or not you participate, though it is uncommon for them to proceed without the cooperation of the victim. There are also times when a third party, such as a doctor or teacher, is required to report a suspicion of sexual abuse. Many victims say that reporting is the last thing they want to do right after being attacked. That's perfectly understandable - reporting can seem invasive, time consuming and difficult. Still, there are many good reasons to report, and some victims say that reporting helped their recovery and helped them regain a feeling of control.

Geezo PETE, Ken!
Yet again, you insist we must believe ONE SOURCE making a claim about a single case. A case which, if you'd bothered to read the entire story you yourself linked, is described as "IF found to be true."
No one else has to prove anything but you. YOU are the one making the accusations against Planned Parenthood. Therefore, YOU are the one obliged to cite sources--not just one but several--that demonstrate a basis for your accusations.
And just how do you propose ANYONE find a statistic showing how many times assaults were not reported??? Of course, that can't be determined at all reliably!!!! Talk about a ridiculous demand. That one pretty much beats all.
So, just what is your point about the reporting statement? Are you actually advocating that all Planned Parenthood counselors must report possible assaults no matter the wishes of the victim? How the victim feels about enduring the added trauma of criminal prosecution doesn't matter, I suppose. Make her go through it whether she wants to or not.

My point is simple, if people are going to point the faults of Catholic Priests and fault CCC of defending them, then one should just admit that PP is likewise in the same type of sexual trouble and not defend it either. Just for consistency sake.

Ken, You must understand that PP is very busy, understaffed, and cash strapped. If they make the effort to do additional paperwork, then that takes away resources from people in dire need of their services. PP is a lot like Jesus' ministry, he couldn't save the entire world at once, so he devoted all his efforts and resources to a backward and confused bunch of people living on an insignificant bit of real estate. It's all about making due with what you have. Jesus didn't bother with the paperwork, did he? There's a good chance that Jesus was conceived during a rape. What did Jesus do about that?
