Anybody have as good a day as I did today?

Anybody have as good a day as I did today? Russell Wilson maybe? Belichik goes into the game Sunday having as much of a guaranteed win as is ever possible in the NFL. The Patriots simply own Andrew Luck. But Belichik cheats anyway. I don't get it. I would love to see the NFL come down hard on the Patriots for sleazy and unnecessary cheating - its a pattern. Probably won't happen though. Does it embarrass you a little bit as a Pats fan? On a happier note, I pulled the trigger on a used 180FL. I know, probably the most unnecessary luxury I've ever purchased, but I got a great price and I can always sell it if I have too... that's what I tell myself anyway. I also sold my 140 for about $800 more than I paid for it new. Gotta love inflation...sometimes. Good luck in the Super Bowl, if the Patriots win, I will be happy for you. But I sure hope they get annihilated. Jim

I think the whole nation will want to see the Pats get annihilated. I spent an evening stealing peeks through a 180FL at a star party - a great scope and surprisingly light. I was shocked when the owner let me hold it after he dismantled his setup, I thought my arms would buckle a bit, but it felt so light.

That is how you beat the Seattle Seahawks!
Seattle got to the Superbowl in miraculous fashion, so it's not inappropriate for them to lose in the same fashion.

I would have loved to see the Pats lose, but if they had to win the Superbowl again, I'm glad they beat the Seahawks! J

Thanks Jim, I think???
I'm about to order my SB XLIX memorabilia. I went to Sports Authorized but they just had local FL teams, so hats and shirts will be ordered online.

SteveC circa November: "It's all about injuries at this point" Your statement was really proven true this year. By the way, I'd have given Edelman the MVP yesterday, but I might be biased. Jim

Jim Somebody claimed that the NFL is considering using 50 instead of "L", perhaps because it is a special anniversary or because "L" may not look cool enough.

Jim I would have given the MVP to Butler, without that interception Brady would have been the goat. That play defined the game and changed SB history books. I know it was one play, but what the hell, what are we going to remember about this SB.

Hi Steve: The actual report, which I have just skimmed, is much more damning than the early press accounts would lead you to believe. (Read the "Text Messages" portion. Tom Brady and Hillary Clinton have a whole lot in common. Kraft sounds just like a political operative when he basically says that if no felonies can be proved beyond a shadow of a doubt there is "nothing to see here... move along" This taints the whole season given that Brady was losing before the perpetrators stepped in to fix the balls. www.nytimes.com/interactive/2015/05/06/sports/football/07deflate-doc.htmlJim

Jim,
I read the highlights from other sources. Your link doesn't load well on my tablet.
be that as it may - NO WAY!!! Ain't nothing tainted. The second half of the AFC Championship and the SB were played with regulation balls and the Pats won handily. Vindication is sweet.

You must find a version of the actual report that will load on to your tablet. It's good reading. I especially like the texts from the locker room attendent who goes by the title of "the deflator"... Nothing suggestive there. Bottom line, The pats aren't playing in the AFC championship game if they don't make the payoffs and/or secure home field advantage. It is pretty clear that the cheating started early in the season when thing were going bad - and just in the nick of time! In my opinion, this is far worse than spygate. Cheaters gotta cheat though and fans gotta justify. Jim
