I don't know if anybody is following the fall of Mark Discoll and the collapse of Mars Hill Church over numerous charges of fraud, misogyny, and managerial bullying, but it seems James MacDonald is trying to avoid the same fate. It's amazing how the elders of Harvest Bible Chapel were forgiven for their transgressions once they began going public with allegations of financial fraud against James MacDonald. I'm sure those elders will be compensated handsomely for remaining quiet from here on. I love when this stuff becomes public and shallow churches and equally shallow, vane, and fraudulent pastors fall from grace. I want to hear more, but no doubt the holy spirit moves with the money, so MacDonald will probably get a reprieve.
