So if the guy who cleaned the bathroom brought the Bible home, and the authorities discovered he was allowing others to read it in his home, and consequently the police executed the bunch as they enjoyed the gospels, it's all good because the American missionary considered his actions the right thing to do? Killing people is what NK authorities do best and knowing that would make the missionary complicit in the murders. Let me rephrase what you just said... The Christians that are being murdered in Iraq is a direct consequence of Obama's Administration's position of just creating a vacuum by withdrawing all support and Obama got into office because you voted for him and therefore you are complicit in the murders. I guess if you are twisted in your logic, it can make sense in some sort of contorted way. I believe all Christians have now left the Regions under the control of ISIS, The prime Targets are Kurdish Yazidi. Yazidiz is a hybrid religion based upon Islam, Judaism, Christianity and Zoroastrianism. The are often mistaken for Muslims especially in youtube videos as they have stoned quite a few girls to death over the past few years. Obama has gotten us into another Mess. We have begun bombing ISIS the last I heard. I believe there have been 2 bombing raids to date and Obama has said there will be a long hard road in front of us. linklink

Korea is a communist country opposed to ALL religion. Obama's policies have nothing whatsoever to do with the NKs' persecution of the religious!

Well, if you believe hiding a Bible in newspaper and tucking it behind a waste bucket brave, then perhaps I would consider them more brave. Truthfully, I consider it cowardly.

Can only speak for myself. If I was going to NK I would not Bring a Qur'an. Because it is illegal to do so. I believe that if a person goes to another country, they abide by the laws, including the ones they disagree with, or they stay out of the country.

Even North Koreans have to wonder why anyone would want to visit such a crappy place. I would visit a hundred fifty other countries, then France, then North Korea. That's how low on the list NK is. They have to know that anybody visiting from the US has to be on a mission from god, and now they know to check bathrooms after an American dumps a load and leaves without taking the newspaper.

It is the same. I wouldn't leave it in the bathroom, but I would be happy to give it to a N. Korean or any other language if a person wanted one. Why wouldn't you leave it in a bathroom? I see no purpose in it. It would be more effective to give it to a Christian in NK If you could view the people of God as a body you would get a good understanding of purpose and placement. Each part of the body has a very specific purpose and a very specific calling. If my calling and position in the body was to go to the underground church in oppressive countries and bring Bibles, I would be there in a heartbeat. If I am not called to do that, I wouldn't go even if I had an invitation. Having a friend who preaches in open events of tens of thousands of people in Muslim Pakistan, I have an open invitation to go. Until I sense God is sending me, why spend over $3,000 just to be present in one of those events? He is part of the body that preaches in Muslim Pakistan. It is far wiser to enable that part of the body to fulfill his calling than it is for me to spend that type of money. Rather than a heart trying to act like a mouth, it is wiser just to send the oxygen through the veins and let the mouth do what it is supposed to do.

Ken,
I'm not going to get into a discussion of Obama's policies in Iraq. There's about 10 layers or more of accountability between my voting for him and ISIS killing Christians in Iraq. Who's to say that the results would not have been the same with any other presidential candidate. You seem to forget that the previous president, who we both voted for, got a direct message from god to invade Iraq. That vote weighs heavily on my conscious.
The missionary booked a flight to NK and hid a Bible, thank god the washroom attendant did the right thing, because he could have ended up dead had he not. There's a direct link to the missionary and potential disaster.
It seems you don't approve of the missionary's mission as revealed to him by god, is that correct? I say that because you have commented in several posts that you would not have done it that way.
Also, would you have given a complete stranger in NK a cigarette or alcoholic drink if they had asked for it?

You missed the point completely. the point was, since my analysis is so farfetched, it is because Steve's was equally farfetched. My scenario was not farfetched. If it were, the bathroom attendant would not have felt the need to surrender the Bible to authorities and the missionary would not be in jail.
