Ok... got it. Shalom and Alhumdulilah -- you never know, some people may have had great life changes even if you misrepresented the product. No, you've misunderstood, Ken. Woodrow didn't say HE misrepresented the product but rather that the "product he was selling" as an Assembly of God missionary was a misrepresentation of what he now believes is the true God as revealed accurately by Islam.

Oh... well, something is wrong. We don't sell a product. Regardless, " some people may have had great life changes"

You may prefer not to think you're selling a product, but any clergy attempting to reach and inspire people, and certainly to encourage them to convert, uses many techniques similar to those of a successful salesperson.

Ken,
I support a couple schools, one of which is named in my will. I support a couple of Chabods, a couple of Jewish relief organizations, Salvation Army, a few learning disabilities organizations, and a couple womens' shelters. When I sold my house in NJ, I donated a ton of stuff to a relief organization to help the needy in Ecuador.
I still waiting to find what poor people the likes of Jamison, Copeland, Hinn, and Osteen help in any given year. Whenever you're ready to tell me, I'm here.

Love the variety of people you support and/or have supported. Congrats and high five! I'm sure that, if you were interested, you could google their sites and find that type of information. Memory serves me correctly, Jamison s heavily involved in drilling wells of water and feeding the poor and Copeland has been involved in disaster relief. Definitely have no idea about Hinn and Osteen. I do remember Joel father, John. Having lived in the Philippines before pastoring Lakewood church, he would send thousands upon thousands of dollars oversees. I could physically verify that your infamous CBN has given pills for the removal parasites in Honduras amounting to hundreds upon hundreds of thousands in just Honduras. I believe they have outlets throughout South and Central America with no "scratch my back and I'll scratch your" mentality involved. TOLM is only involved in helping the poor of Honduras and not involved in helping stateside ministries. I can also confirm, by having helped another church in a migrant farm area, that they give out tons of food.

Ken,
I've read about their disaster reliefs, it never materializes, expecially Copeland's. And pills, they're cheap and always donated by pharmaceutical companies. Mother Theresa had tons of donated medical supplies that were also shipped free of charge.

Mother Theresa had tons of donated medical supplies that were also shipped free of charge. I understand that. The answers were only about what I know (pills). (Copeland what I have heard). Since I really don't have any info and I won't fabricate any - can't help you with info other than what the internet provides. For disaster I give and promote the Salvation Army. (Baptists to a great job too)
