We're pretty used to this sort of rhetoric over here, but in yawn-at-God Britain? God save the PM?Cameron's recent foray into public religiosity has provoked a bit of a reaction. It's not just yesterday's news. Cameron appointed a Minister of Faith--Muslim Baroness Warsi to faith and tolerance in Britain. Her previous day-job was Chairman (sic) of the Conservative Party. Sounds like they're turning all American on us. BTW, Happy Birthday to the Queen.

Is he motivated by a Christian revival of some sorts in the UK or is he just behaving like a politician? Perhaps he's also following the lead of national Republican leaders in this country by mimicking so called Christian values.

I guess you'd have to ask him that. Unfortunately, American Fundamentalism is proving to be contagious in the worst possible sense of the word.
