But Ken,
Both have temples, both are dead, and I've created a prayer to Godess Fortuna. What more do you need? Oh wait, Godess Fortuna needs jug fragments referring to bad wine to be discovered. I have faith that science will reveal the mysteries of Godess Fortuna in the near future, jug fragments and all.
Edit - Godess Fortuna may simply be retired for all we know. Science will eventually figure that out also.

Ken, Who said, "do you believe reality is fiction"? Does it matter? It is pretty understandable as it stands. If you want, you can say that I just said it.

Archaeologists Unearth What May Be Oldest Roman Temple As someone else said once, "Do you believe reality is fiction? If not, you can't compare Godess Fortuna with Jesus." You're half right, Ken. There is an ontological dissimilarity between Fortuna and Jesus, the itinerant preacher who gathered a following, left a body of moral teachings, started a messianic movement and was ultimately executed under Roman justice. To make such a comparison is silly. On the other hand, the comparison between Fortuna and Jesus, the eternal uncreated logos who sits at the right hand of the Father and comes to judge the living and the dead is quite apt. He and and Fortuna are cut from the same cloth.

No argument here. I'm for tuna, in sushi and otherwise. Personally, I'm a devotee of Goddess Caffeina. Much more accessible.
