Hey! I used to play GTA. It was a helluva lot of fun even though I kept crashing my stolen car because my hand-eye coordination sucks.
The various evolutions of Diablo are fun murder and mayhem, too. Some very gratifying sploosh and splatter.
(Okay, I'll leave off reveling in vicarious slaughter.)
Welcome, Issues, to our more or less merry bunch. I claim Oz myself in a somewhat different sense: My first name is Dorothy, and I grew up in Kansas.

Something else sad about this incident-- "Justice Toliver was the mother of a 2-year-old, while Mario Toliver has a child who is 6 or 7 months old." The victim was only 15 when she got pregnant and her brother is a father at 14. There's something really wrong with our society that becoming parents this young is nothing unusual.

Should I feel reassured it's no longer Missouri, home to Todd Akin?

Yup, stupid state for sure. The little old ladies I play trivia night with at Duffy's are licenced to carry guns. You might read about a bloody shoot out there, those little old ladies are very competitive.

This segment has gone idle for awhile--not for lack of fodder, mind you. Here's the headline: www.upi.com/Top_News/US/2014/05/13/5-people-including-students-shot-near-Atlanta-high-school/1861400033795/Remember the rules, kiddies: 1. The easy availability and relative lack of regulation on guns are NOT the problem. 2. The aimlessness of today's youth? Always an excellent play. 3. Focus on the obvious solutions...outright bans on backpacks and book bags. 4. DO NOT compare US gun violence to that of other comparable nations with heavier regulation of guns and ammunition. It's much different over here because...well, I don't have time to go into it now.

The obvious solution to the problem is transparency. All clothing and fashion accessories must be see through. We can call it Invisible Couture

I hear that their wigs are very comfortable. There's the sunburn issue that needs to be overcome. What the hell do you think sunscreen is for? They make it in sprayon these days even.
