Naw, not hardly. That's one fairly popular still in shitkickin' country where I lived for 20 years. Cute song.
It's Major League playoffs, and I'm rooting some for Baltimore to "do a Boston" and win it all. Except, I think it would be very cool if the Royals met the Cards, an I-70 Series.
Hubby got an email for the Cards' WS lottery. We actually might go if he wins the chance to buy tickets. Assuming the Cards make it, that is.

the song wasn't so bad it drove everybody off------or was it? Did you update the link today? It wouldn't play on my tablet originally. Nevertheless, when I listened to it just now, it was painful to listen to. Sorry bout that, tough for a northern boy to appreciate.

I was a 7 year old Connecticut Yankee boy when that came out on records in 1947----------Then again it is still confusing to me. The diagram version helps

Where's the Baltimore connection in your rooting strategy? A rare instance of following my Dad's example. First, he would root for the definite underdog. Then, secondarily, any team that had come out of a long stint of sucking to win its division, like the O's did. But, the Royals are my team of the moment...and probably will be in an I-70 Series, too. The Cards have been good long enough. Time for the Royals to get the glory again after a loooong dry spell.
