Hubby's on vacation so am spending a good deal of time going and doing with him as well as juggling two very interesting books.
Saw a great Yankees-Cards game at Busch on Mem Day afternoon. Like to thought it'd get rained out due to an hour's rain delay. We didn't care that much being lucky to have seats sheltered from both sun and rain. We watched the poor suckers in the high-priced seats scramble for cover as it freakin' poured rain and felt grateful that the disabled seating we had was so cozy.
Got some gorgeous fan gifts, replicas of the 1964 Cards World Series ring. We figured they'd be plastic but are a nicely engraved metal. Makes a pinky ring for hubby whose ring size is 15. I can nearly get two fingers in my replica, my fingers are so skinny.
So, anyway, I'm lurking though not posting other than this, and all is well otherwise.

They should thank the Rays for giving them something to stand on other than the bottom for a change.

Why would what I said surprise you, Steve? YOU pointed out my "Marquis de Dot" streak.
::::::: giggling maniacally :::::::
(Hmmmm. Wonder what kind of a drill it will take to attach cuffs and chains to the wall down here? I'll have to contact the modern Inquisition and see if they can spare a rack.
Decorating this place could be FUN.)

I've been meaning to comment on how touched I am by having a board named in my honor, dubious though it is. This seemed the place to do that, so here 'tis. Shucky doggone!

Naw, I'll leave inquisitions to a rabid relative suspected of being involved with Opus Dei. Anyway, he's so hardcore he even drives out of his way to go to a Latin Mass on Sunday, the "real" Mass in his books. Doesn't think Mass on Saturday counts unless, of course, it's for a Holy Day of Obligation.
Carry on with the usual carryings-on, no fear.
