LOL, I knew that your only defense would be to attack the messenger since you couldn't attack the message. All car salesman are snakes All doctors have ulterior motives All pastors are in it for the money unless they are poverty preachers All lawyers are thieves The only perfect people are people like you... Got it!! And a Blessed Christmas to you!! Never said any of those things. What I did imply before, but will now state for the record, is that a car salesman turn preacher is more than likely a snake. No doubt he saw how well guys like Copeland, Osteen, etc, were doing and realized that god was more profitable than cars. Your profession attracts weasels like that - Copeland, Osteen for example. I will agree that the message prosperity will also attract flies. However, the answer isn't your poverty gospel, rather just swat the fly. None-the-less, your implications was... as stated. Not everyone can be as perfect as you.

And, about the hookers for Jesus post, a kind word and a helpful hand from anybody could change a hooker's life, no gospel needed. If the Gospels were so effective, they would change all hookers' lives. When the Gospel clears all hookers from Las Vegas streets, let me know, and I'll be impressed.

Never said that the Gospel is the only method - just that the message still works. If education was so effective, they would change all lives... they don't If getting a job were so effective, it would change all lives... it doesn't If giving more help to the poor would make there be no more people in poverty, it would stamp out poverty... it doesn't. You just gotta factor in people

You just gotta factor in people I did figure in the people factor, you while you simply make excuses for god's "message". Education, jobs, and charity are all human creations, I expect them to win and lose a few. The Message, since it's god's inspiration, should produce better results than something created by man. Flying in commercial airlines is more reliable than the message if you consider the Message's effect on the the total prostitution population of Las Vegas. If commercial airlines had the Gospel's track record, planes would be dropping from the sky in droves. I'd be more apt to believe god created airplanes than I would the Message based on the latter's results.

Free will, that in our understanding God gave, is still free will. people use free will in deciding to board planes, and again, man made planes are more reliable than god's message. When was the last time a plane crashed in Las Vegas, yet the Gospel crashes quite often in Vegas if you consider the number of hookers still plying the trade. Free will is Christianity's term for failure.
